The economic situation is currently preoccupying companies at all levels. It is particularly noticeable in the way employees interact with each other: competitive pressure is increasing, trust is dwindling, and even informal conversations in the coffee kitchen or canteen are increasingly revolving around the future of the company. These observations are of great importance to managers. They show how much external crises shape internal dynamics – and how important it is to actively create orientation, transparency, and trust now.

AI is changing our working world in many ways. When introducing AI, however, we should not only think about processes, but also about skills, what kind of employees will be needed in the future, how we can further train our workforce, and how this will affect corporate culture. The study by IESE Business School and KU Leuven shows that these changes will not stop at management jobs.
